Thanks for the input. That way, if something more detailed comes up, you can throw in an advanced rule for them to try. That way you can get going immediately under quasi-Fourth, and convert your players that way.

I will note that I do have access to other materials BUT it’s limited to what ever I can realistically print off on a home printer. On the other hand, I do have a few resources grps 3E.

Since you want more than what’s in that taste, is there any reason why you’re not just getting the full GURPS core book? It has been your support, financial and otherwise, that has litw this site to become what it is today.

Would the 3rd Edition Basic Set be okay as a substitute noting the changes in point cost until I can get 4th Edition? I’m trying to get a group of not-so-avid roleplayers into a game. Page 1 of gurp. The only rules that I really force my players to learn are the character creation rules.
